Giving "The Block" a Lift in the Morning

Picture This Ballooning worked with Channel 9's "The Block" to give contestants a challenge that took them beyond hot air and into the sky.

We really enjoyed working with the cast & crew of "The Block" as they bravely entered our world with an early morning start in near freezing temperatures to film one of the more uplifting challenges of the series.

From the initial challenge, delivered by the light of our burners, to the final pin-point landing at Moorabbin airport, both teams joined their pilot & crew in a race to be first in the air and "closest to the pin" at the end.

The new Adrenalin Balloon

Picture This Ballooning are proud to present Melbourne's newest balloon with thanks to the crew at Adrenalin. Featuring a very distinctive BLACK colouring, the balloon first flew on Thursday, June 16th, 2011.

We've already had a competition to see if anyone could Guess the Colour(s) of the new balloon so, now that everyone can see it, we're running a new Take a Photo, Win a Flight competition.

We want the people of Melbourne to look for this new balloon, take photos of it when they see it and then share them on Facebook and/or Twitter (@PTBallooning) or even email them to us. The best photo will win a midweek flight for two so get creative & look for different angles or landmarks you can include in the shot. Post as many as you like but just be sure to let us know you've taken them.
