There are many reasons. Firstly, our Airport is located 20kms north of the City. This means we do not interfere with major air traffic.

We also enjoy being the "Garden State". Being a city with one of the largest areas of parks and gardens on the planet allows us to take off and land in many areas in and around Melbourne.

The weather is nearly always perfect. Well... what we mean by that is that for a couple of hours on most mornings throughout the year we enjoy very calm stable weather - great for hot air balloons.
